Romantic Restaurants For Valentine’s Day in Pawleys Island

Love is in the air: Best bets for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner near Pawleys Island

Valentine’s Day is dedicated to expressing love and affection for significant others. And what better way to make the day special than by sharing a romantic meal with your loved one.

Fortunately, there are several restaurants in the Pawleys Island area that offer a romantic setting – and a great meal, too. When offered, reservations are suggested. Here are our best bets for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner:

bisQit

Known for its Southern comfort cuisine, bisQit offers signature appetizers and sandwiches, creative cocktails, and more, all in a cozy café with a covered patio. It’s a perfect choice for a not-so-dressy Valentine’s Day outing.

For something out of the ordinary, try the cauliflower wings tossed in a variety of sauces like Buffalo, Red Chili, Garlic Parmesan, or Nashville Hot. Or share some Nashville Hot Chicken Tacos with Nashville Hot Sauce and feta cheese. Or try one of bisQit’s signature sandwiches named for communities near Pawleys Island: Hagley, Waverly, Waccamaw and Litchfield.

And you can make Valentine’s really sweet by indulging in one of bisQit’s signature milkshakes – they come regular or spiked!

Try the fried green tomatoes and oysters, trout almondine, which is pan fried, served with toasted almonds and fingerling potatoes, or Korean Chili Seared Salmon with mushrooms, baby bok choy, edamame, jalapenos, radish, cilantro, pickled onions, udon noodles, and gochujang dashi. And don’t leave without tasting one of Bistro’s signature or daily-special desserts.

Pawleys Island Tavern

Known as PIT by locals and longtime visitors, Pawleys Island Tavern offers inside or outside dining in a “classically shabby” atmosphere. Choose from delicious appetizers like grouper fingers, lightly breaded and fried, or crab balls made fresh with the same great taste as PIT’s famous crab cakes, rolled up bite-sized and fried until golden-brown.

Also try the pizza or any of the seafood baskets – shrimp, oyster, sea scallop, grouper, flounder, or a combination. They are each served with coleslaw and a choice of side.
