Aunny’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Thursday, Nov. 25, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Aunny’s Country Kitchen, an iconic restaurant on Front Street in historic Georgetown, will host its annual free Thanksgiving feast for the community from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25. The Rev. Charles and Andrea “Aunny” Johnson and their staff and dozens of volunteers from local churches and organizations will come together on Thanksgiving Day to offer the meal to anyone who would like to join them. Over the years, the meal has been enjoyed by locals, tourists and even visitors arriving in Georgetown by boat. While the meal is always free, donations are accepted. Aunny’s will serve favorite holiday items including turkey (baked, fried or barbecued), fried chicken, ham, corn, collard greens, candied yams, butter beans, stuffing, white or yellow rice and desserts at the restaurant at 926 Front St. All dinners will be served in to-go containers. Get Carried Away Southern Takeout

Get Carried Away Southern Takeout, popular in Pawleys Island for years and maker of the iconic Palmetto Cheese, is taking Thanksgiving orders through Nov. 20. Get Carried Away offers a host of Southern-style sides to complete your holiday meal. You provide the turkey or ham, and Get Carried Away takes care of the rest. Sides are available in small, medium, and large sizes and include squash casserole, mac & cheese, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, and corn pudding. Breakfast casseroles, biscuits, yeast rolls, pies, cakes and more are also available. Sides start at $12 for small portions. Biscuits are $10/dozen. Casseroles start at $14. Desserts are $24-$35. Gulfstream Café Thanksgiving dinner

The Gulfstream Café, located on the southern-most tip of Garden City Beach in Georgetown County, will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and regular menu favorites. The meal includes oven-roasted turkey breast, sugar-cured ham, sweet potato casserole, green beans and carrots, mashed potatoes, Southern herb stuffing, homemade giblet gravy, cranberry relish, cornbread and rolls; and pecan or pumpkin pie. Local Eat Drink Celebrate

One of Pawleys Island’s newest restaurants, the already-popular Local Eat Drink Celebrate will serve a family-style, all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, featuring turkey and everyone’s favorite fixins. Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club Thanksgiving Brunch
Thursday, Nov. 25, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club will serve up a Thanksgiving brunch for the holiday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seatings will be every 45 minutes. Carving stations will be offering prime rib and roasted turkey breast with the buffet will feature honey-glazed ham, garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, breakfast selections, desserts and pies. The cost is $36.99 per person. Meals for children 12 and under are half price. Add a Thanksgiving Mimosa for $3.99 or a Turkey Day Bloody Mary for $4.99. Reservations are required. Quigley’s Pint and Plate Thanksgiving
Taking orders through Nov. 22

Quigley’s Pint and Plate, located in the Litchfield Beach community of Pawleys Island, is offering a Thanksgiving family-style carry-out package that includes roasted turkey breast, honey-glazed ham, smoked gouda macaroni and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes with turkey giblet gravy, green bean casserole, tomato & cucumber salad, cranberry sauce, cornbread stuffing, dinner rolls, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. The meal feeds 8-10 people and is available for $185. Orders must be placed by Monday, Nov. 22, and payment is due when your order is placed. Pick up is Wednesday, Nov. 24, from noon to 5 p.m. at Quigley’s Next Door. The meals will be ready to “heat and eat.” Add a four-pack of Quigley’s Crowlers for $25. Wahoo’s Fish House Thanksgiving Buffet

Wahoo’s Fish House, one of the popular waterfront restaurants on the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet, will host a Seafood and Traditional Thanksgiving Buffet from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. It will include a carving station with roasted or fried turkey, honey-baked ham, carved prime rib, roast pork tenderloin with apple chutney; a hot food station with fried fish, fried shrimp, baked barbecued salmon, cornbread stuffing, giblet gravy, sweet potato soufflé, whipped potatoes, rice pilaf, succotash, sweet corn pudding, mac and cheese, slow-braised carrots, glazed-baby carrots, green bean casserole, vegetable medley and hushpuppies; a soup and quiche bar with seafood gumbo and assorted quiches; a cold food station with peel-and-eat shrimp, cheese, fruit and crackers, coleslaw, macaroni salad, potato salad, cranberry sauce, smoked salmon and house-tossed salad; and a dessert bar with Southern-style pecan pie, pumpkin pie, banana pudding, New York-style cheese cake, brownies, lemon bars, strawberry shortcake and ice cream with toppings.
